COFOUNDER

Edgar has a Bachelor’s degree In Psychology from UC Merced. For fun he likes to indulge in a nerdy card game known as Magic the Gathering. He can speak 5 languages, 3 of which he is fluent in. He can solve a Rubix cube in under a minute but give him some caffeine and he’ll get it done in under 30 seconds!

Marcus has a Bachelor's degree in computer science, with a minor in Mandarin, and a minor in Interactive Media Art. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Statistics. For fun, he enjoys cooking, rock climbing, Frisbee, and trying new taco trucks.

Angelica has a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with Concentration in Communication Studies. She likes to crochet cute animals and gift them to friends and family and loves cuddling her dog, Fatty Watty. She can identify 80% of Taylor Swift’s discography in 0 seconds of the song playing, and she’s working on increasing that percentage!

TUTOR

Grace is attending CSU Stanislaus as an English major with a concentration in Subject Matter Preparation to become a teacher. In her free time, she loves anything outdoors! She likes hiking, playing tennis, and going on runs. She also has a pet frog named Douglas! Her favorite part of tutoring is witnessing the growth in confidence as kids master skills and subjects they once struggled with!

Alex enjoys playing volleyball and binge watching TV shows; he is also a big fan of Harry Potter. He received his bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Merced and is passionate about the development of stem cells and also studies virology (viruses). He has been a STEM educator for almost 7 years. Alex is also an aspiring Pediatric Physical Therapist and hopes to one day teach Biology at the collegiate level.

Carlos graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from UC Merced. In his free time he likes working out and watching anime.

Samantha is currently working toward an Associate degree in English at Merced Junior College and is planning to transfer to a university to complete her Bachelor’s Degree. In her free time she likes to do arts and crafts. She enjoys painting in the park the most; especially with good company and a delicious picnic. She also like to go to the movies and her favorite genre is comedy.

Robert is a Central Valley native with a passion for Computer Science and STEM education. He enjoys playing the piano and can solve a Rubik’s cube in 10 seconds. He received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from UC Merced, graduating with high honors and an outstanding student nomination. He aspires to apply his skills in high-impact settings, guided by his passion for software engineering and eagerness to help others succeed.
