Our December seminar will be hosted by guest host Keanu Valibia. Keanu is a professional Master's student at Duke University, where he studies both Environmental Management and Public Policy and also serves as the President of the Graduate and Professional Student Government for the 2023 - 2024 academic year. Before coming to Duke, he was a Business Administration student at UC Riverside and eventually went on to work at organizations such as Deloitte, and the United Nations International Organization for Migration. He's interested in the effects of climate change on Southeast Asian diasporas and how countries and organizations can effectively finance sustainable and community-oriented climate solutions.

Our second seminar discusses Artificial Intelligence and aims to demystify tech jargon and help you understand many of the headlines we have been seeing circulating. From ChatGPT, to deepfakes, to image recognition, we will be discussing the many ways Machine Learning influences our rapidly changing world.
